Murder High Reunion Class of '83

Our friends threw an awesome murder mystery party.  We got invitations weeks before and couldn't wait for the party.  

Brett was the one who was murdered by Rachel Harding.  It was a great time!

3. Pregnant costumes are even better than normal costumes ha ha.

Halloween

For Halloween this year we kept it pretty low key.  We went to our ward trunk or treat at the church, a week before Halloween, where Lincoln semi-learned about getting candy for doing nothing.  He was pretty excited about it though.  Not pictured is Brett and I dressed up, Brett has an inmate and me as a police officer.

 On Halloween day we went to "the Lawn" on campus at the University of Virginia.  It's a pretty huge thing that they do every year.  It's really beautiful and where Thomas Jefferson actually lived and set up the school.

 We went with the Christensens but lost them in the crowd.  It was crazy! I was pretty stressed so we left rather early and walked home.  

 To be honest, Lincoln was more interested in taking off his cool dinosaur jacket (since it was 75 degrees) and running around this tree with Brett.  I love him.

Pumpkin Patchin'

We went with a lot of our friends to a fun pumpkin patch they have a little ways out of Charlottesville. It was a perfect day and so fun!  Lincoln loved it.

 They had tons of pumpkins and lots of fun toys.  

 Lincoln came over and cuddled with me for a lot of it.  Little did I know he would be sick the next day, but he had a great time that night.

 Charlotte, Candice, and Tess came too and loved the big slide.

Outerbanks, NC

 For fall break we went to Outerbanks, North Carolina.  We went with a bunch of law students, as is tradition for fall break.  We rented a 12-bedroom house on the beach.  It was spectacular!

 When it got warm everyone ran out to the beach!  With the wind and rain, being off season, we all soaked up the sun whenever possible.

 Brett enjoyed playing football with the guys on the beach...

 And boogie boarding...

 We also went crabbing.  Although no one caught anything it was a beautiful place to go!

 Lincoln loved the water and throwing rocks in.

 

 We went mini golfing and Lincoln did surprising well.  It was a blast!

 Plus they had a train so Linc was in heaven!

 Sara, Charlotte, and Jack came with us too.

Lincoln was pretty afraid of the large waves at the beach so we mostly held him on the beach.
