I Love That

I love Brett.
We just got back from grocery shopping and I love when he comes with me.
He is very meticulous about prices. He gets
a very serious look about his face as we walked down the aisles and
find the products we need.
I love that.
He is so cute.

This last week I completed our wedding album and he
was so excited about it with me.
I know that when I get excited about something small,
he probably isn't as excited or impressed but he pretends.
I love that he does that.
It makes me so happy.

I love that he helps me with laundry, dishes, and cleaning.
Since we have no dishwasher, the dishes have to get done somehow.
He is so great to just jump in and do them.
When I get up before he does,
He ends up making the bed, too.
I love that he does that.

Brett and I love to spend time together.
We love watching Lost, going to the library,
eating dinner together, and playing games together.
I love that.

I usually pick up Brett from school.
He calls me around 6:15 and I go get him.
I love seeing him walk out and get in the car.
He kisses me, smiles at me, and asks how my day was.
I love that, too.

I love that God loves me so much that he blessed me to meet Brett.
He is my world. I would be lost without him.
I truly love him.

A Snowy Night at the Provo Temple

Tonight Brett and I set out for the temple at 6:20 from our apartment. It took us about a minute to get there and we just got home (It's 10:15). Yes. We got to the temple and it was incredibly busy! They escorted about 80 of us down to the basement to wait in a waiting room while the Temple President talked to us. He said that it was the busiest night the Provo temple had ever seen. They had people waiting all over the temple to get into endowment rooms. We finally got into a room and were able to go through the endowment. Crazy busy! When we finally left we walked outside to see amazing amounts of snow falling heavily from the sky. It had snowed about 5 inches while we were gone. It was a great night and a great memory.

Ready...Set...

I just did it.
I registered for the Utah Valley Half-Marathon.
It is one of my new years resolutions and I'm so excited!!
It is on June 12, 2010, and I'm running it with my Aunt April.
I have always wanted to run a half and maybe sometime a full. We'll see...

1. I'm going to the temple today.
2. That I can run.
3. My family.

Take Two!

For this brand new year one of my resolutions was to learn how to make a new recipe, whether it be entres, desserts, salads, what have you, each week of this new year. Some of you may remember a recent experience I had with baking of bread. It was a failure. F.a.i.l.u.r.e. So, instead of waiting until the last week of the year to try again, I decided this was the week to face my fear head on. I went to the grocery store and got the needed supplies. This morning I woke with a little bit of fear in my belly hoping that this time it would be a success. At 11am this morning, I began. I laid out all my needed ingredients.
As you can see here....
And nervously began....
And after some mixing, adding, measuring, rolling out, and cooking....
3 Successful loaves were born!!!!!!!!! I couldn't be happier. (Actually I could, the shape was a little weird, I'll work on that.) But all in all I am extremely pleased.
Happy Friday and have a great weekend!

P.S. One of my other resolutions is to be more Grateful. My wonderful sister Holly posts 3 things she is grateful for at the end of every post. I think it's a fantastic idea and I hope she won't mind if I copy. :)
1. Work.
2. My BREAD!!
3. Blue skies today.
