Dustin Family Christmas Eve Extravaganza

For Christmas Eve-Eve, the 23, we celebrated Christmas with my family with bowling and lots of games.  Brett and I got pretty into it and it turned out really fun.

First, we went bowling.   

 Lincoln thought it was pretty much the coolest thing ever.  He loved pushing his ball down the handicap ramp.

  After bowling we had a very "homemade" dinner of pizza and salad.  Delish!

 After dinner the games commenced.  We played a series of minute-to-win-it games set up by Brett and I with points for winning.  The points would then be used at the auction after the games.  

The games included: Getting an oreo from your forehead to your mouth without your hands...

 Stacking cups into a tree shape...

 Getting a rudolph ball on your vasolined-nosed, which proved to be nearly impossible....

 Which my mom and dad proved to be very good at...

 And after was the auction and then we watched It's a Wonderful Life. It is a new Dustin Family tradition and I can't wait for it for years to come.

Jossica Gets Hitched

Josh and Jessica, nicknamed by Brett Jossica, got married at the Bountiful Temple on December 12!  Lincoln and I flew out on the 10th and were there for the wedding while Brett stayed in Charlottesville studying for finals.  It was such a beautiful day, and such a beautiful couple!

 We couldn't be happier with his choice!

 They had a delicious luncheon at La Jolla Groves at the Gateway, which unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of, and their reception at the Ivy House in Salt Lake.  Everything went perfectly.  

 The kids were good as long as they had fruit and their movie going.  It was a great day and I'm so happy for the beautiful couple.

Impromptu Disc Golf and Dinner Date

On Tuesday Brett finished his last class for this semester and we celebrated by going and playing disc golf at Walnut Creek.  It was a beautiful night and so fun!

 Lincoln loves going and picking up the frisbees for us after we throw them...

 It was so beautiful and the water was picturesque.

On our way home there was a terrible accident and the traffic to get home was awful.  So, we went to Brixx Pizza and got dinner.  It was delicious and so fun! 

 We love taking Linc with us.  He is the best dinner date we could ask for.

Thanksgiving Weekend

For Thanksgiving Katie and Steven came to visit us!  We were so excited to have Thanksgiving with family, especially since they got engaged while they were here!  We are so excited to have Steven be part of the family. 

 Lincoln loves his daddy!!

 We had a complete Thanksgiving!  Turkey, potatoes and gravy, rolls, yams, stuffing, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce, salad, and pie.  It was so good!

 For black friday Brett and I took Lincoln to the Children's Museum where he LOVED the trains all over again.  

 

 On Saturday we went to Bodo's Bagels for lunch, walked around the rotunda, and went downtown.  It was the perfect day!  We also went to the Hunger Games Catching Fire with Lincoln at the babysitter.

Glasses

Last year I took Lincoln to a 3D movie at our new theatre in C'ville.  We took the glasses home with us and lately Lincoln is obsessed with them.  He comes and finds me and wants me to put them on with him.  I love him to pieces.
