Part 2 of this summer is an internship at Kilpatrick Townsend in downtown Denver. We are living in a highrise apartment building on the 5th floor and it's fun to live the downtown life for 8 weeks.
The boys and I have loved exploring different parks. We love Washington Park and go there lots for picnics. I park in a parking garage a couple blocks away so bringing home the groceries gets a little interesting...
We love hanging out together and Griffin sure loves and adores his older brother!
We have a lot of fun going to the park by Brett's work and walking around the city. We love walking down the 16th street mall as well.
I bought a pass to the Children's Museum so we go there a couple times a week. Lincoln loves it!
Some of his favorite activities are the Newton's ball game and the bubble machine.
And pretending to be a firefighter.
One night we went and got frozen custard on the mall. Love these boys!
Griffin is getting so big! He is an absolute joy. I love having him hang out in the bumbo while I try and grab a quick shower!
My favorite street here is Larimer street...it's so dreamy at night.
The first Thursday we were here the firm invited us in for lunch. It was so fun to see Brett and see his office.
Patent draft...
Lincoln LOVED being at the office and loved playing "catch-me-while-I-jump-off-the-table" game...
One day at Target I was trying on some sandals and I turned around to see Lincoln acting out the first scene of Frozen with a "shovel" and singing the whole song. He is quite the character...
He loves walking home from the parking garage everyday with me, especially when he has his "computer" with him.
We love swimming!
Lots of hanging out with the boys...
Throwing rocks in the water at Washington Park...
Linc is in there somewhere...
Lincoln has become a pro at the elevators. He presses the button for me everytime, along with any passengers that need a different floor...
Larkburger was delicious...
And short lived because both boys lost it and we had to leave quickly...Gotta love going to dinner with a 3 year old and a 4 month old....
1. Hanging with my boys.
2. City life experience.
3. Lots of fun things to do.
