Lizi Surprise Party

I threw a surprise party for my friend Lizi Heaps and it was such a blast.  When you live away from family, all you got is your friends!  We had about 20 girls show up and it was a huge surprise for her and so fun to celebrate her.  Love all these wonderful women in Colorado!

Colorado Snow Storms

The boys LOVE the snow!  This storm was super wet and the wind was insane!!!  When we opened our garage we couldn't believe all the snow stacked up against our garage.  Completely crazy!  

 Brett was master snow fort maker and made tons of forts with the boys this last winter.  They played out there for hours!

Bob and Claire come to Denver!

We LOVED having Bob and Claire come to visit us!  They flew in on Thursday and the party started!  Friday morning we went to Snooze, which was packed!!  By the time we ate we were starving savages!  It was worth it though and the boys loved being with Bob and Claire.  

 After breakfast we went and found Claire's old home from when she lived in Colorado.  Lincoln thought we were going to her real house and after he was crying SO hard.  He was really disappointed to not be at their house.  Broke my heart!!

 Then we traveled down to Colorado Springs and visited the Garden of the Gods.  It was a beautiful day to be there and not too crowded.  The boys loved playing on all the rocks and running around.  

 It was a big day cause next we went swimming at the Rec Center!!  The boys loved it!

 Saturday morning we watched the morning session of conference.  We enjoyed the talks and after drove down to Denver to check out Brett's office.  We also played on the playground and then went and ate at Hop Doddy.  SO good!!

 The men relaxed for priesthood session and Claire and the boys and I watched Paddington.  It was such a perfect weekend with tons of great food, tons of gaming, and the boys loving playing with Claire and Bob.  It was perfect!  Thanks for coming to visit!!
