Sweet Grandma B passed away after 92 wonderful years. Thanks to Bob we were able to fly out for the funeral and see family. We were able to attend the funeral, and pack in lots of fun alot with it. It's always so wonderful to be able to see family, just wish it was better circumstances that had brought us all together.
The first day there we went to the children's museum with Claire, Laura, Staci and all the kids. It was a blast and the boys were so excited to see their cousins.
Grandpa Ezell was having his 90th birthday celebration that weekend as well it we got to see lots of the Ezell family. Can't believe that Grandpa Ezell is 90! He looks amazing and is such an example to all of us about doing your genealogy.
Saturday we went to Grandma B's funeral in Kaysville. So many wonderful things were said about her. I remember at my bridal shower, almost 9 years ago, she told me that it was her last christmas on earth and that she would pass away soon. Thankfully she was wrong and we got to celebrate lots more time with her. One of my favorite things that was said about her, was that she said:
When you can't teach the sermon, you have to BE the sermon.
She was definitely a wonderful example to all of us about being active in the gospel and being righteous. We miss her so much already.
The Mellor Family!
Other fun times we had: Roasting s'mores in Papa Dustin's backyard...
Going down to temple square and watching the Restoration video and then going to the visitors center.
Meeting Navy,
Grandma Beus and lots more family.
When we were at temple square we were walking past the tabernacle and I learned that this door, number 23, is where my dad proposed to my mom. Love it!!
Tea Parties with Nana...
Lincoln was so sweet to Griffin when we were flying home. He has become so protective and loving to Griffey and it makes me so happy. He held his hand the whole way and told him where to go. He is such a special boy with such a loving, big heart. I love those boys!
