VA in the fall...

is really, really amazing...

This fall has blown my mind and has lasted for so long.  It's so beautiful here!  I'm so grateful that we are here in Virginia.  I love it so much.  We have an amazing ward and I have so many friends that I love already.  Brett is working really hard in school and is really busy.  Lincoln and I stay busy playing with friends, going to the library, going to parks, and exploring this wonderful town.  We're really grateful that Heavenly Father gave us the confirmation to come here.  Every day I look around and am grateful to be here and I know we are here for a reason.  

Mom comes to C'ville

I have been so excited for my mom to come and it was everything I had hoped for and more.  She got here on Thursday and we partied until Monday.  She is so fabulous and I'm so grateful she came!

 Of course we went to Carter Mountain where we got apples and donuts.  Lincoln found another dog to enjoy :)

 On Saturday we went up to Monticello, Thomas Jefferson's home.  It was so beautiful!  I'm so glad we went.  Our tour guide was very informative and gave a wonderful tour.

 Brett watched Lincoln for us while we did a little shopping and ran around town...

 On Saturday night we went to Bizou and enjoyed a FABULOUS dinner...thanks mom!

 Lincoln had a horrible cold and an ear infection while Nana was here, but he definitely got some good play time in with her, as well as a new train from her!

Halloween in Seattle

I'm so lucky to have such an awesome sister.  I got to fly out to hang out with her.  The flight from Charlottesville to Seattle was really painful, to say the least, but totally worth it!

 It was a beautiful day!

 Thanks to Hurricane Sandy, my flight on Monday moved to Thursday.  One good side of the Hurricane!

Wanda Witch Scavenger Hunt

One of my cute friends, Sara Christensen, set up a fun scavenger hunt for Halloween.  She made a scavenger hunt all around the law school with different groups of 10 people or so.  It was so fun to wander around the school with our friends and enjoy the beautiful leaves.  After we enjoyed drinks and doughnuts!

We were so lucky to have Katie come visit us!  She went to Atlanta for a design conference and then swung up north for the weekend.  We were so grateful to have her here...
