Walks

I love taking Lincoln on walks after dinner.  He loves to go in the meadow (as Brett and I play frisbee).  I love him.
He loves checking out license plates.
He picked up this pinecone and it was MEGA sticky and was pretty bugged after.

1. My crazy boy.
2. So proud of himself that he can read license plates.
3. So smart.

New Bed

Since baby is coming in January we need Lincoln to be in his own bed, thus a new bed has arrived in the nursery.  Lincoln is so in love with it!  He runs into his room and says, "New bed!  It's so comfy!!"

I find him laying in it and reading all the time.  We have had quite a few escapes but for the most part he has adjusted really well.  So happy he loves it.
Everything went pretty well...unless you count this night ha ha...

Flight Home

Lincoln and I flew home the day after we got home from Newport Beach.  It was hard to want to get back on a plane, but it happened.  We had two layovers which really stunk but Lincoln actually did really well.
He loved the fast flat escalators at the airport.
Thanks to a couple new books, the ipad, and the Backyardigans we made it through our flights from Salt Lake City to Pheonix, then to Charlotte, and then to Charlottesville.  We had 30 minute layovers and were the last ones on both connections.  Thanks to my pregnancy hunger I was also starved by the time we got home (no restaurants open because of late hours and the plane running out of food...) and Brett met me at the airport with Wendy's.
By the time we got to our third flight Lincoln wasn't willing to sit down at all.  It was a crazy flight but we're thankful to be home.
1. Made it.
2. Glad the flight is over.
3. Wendy's.

"Throw Him On The Couch"

Everyday Lincoln and my dad have this wonderful little exchange.  My dad will ask him if he wants to be thrown on the couch, "Should we...throw him on the couch?"  And Lincoln usually shrieks with joy.  Had to make sure I recorded this.  He is really going to miss this when we go back to Charlottesville.

1. Papa.
2. Throw him on the couch.
3. One more time....
