While in Denver, I woke up with an idea to go visit Holly! Since I have no obligations or responsibilities right now in Denver I thought it would be the perfect time to go visit. The kids and I boarded the plane at 7:30pm which wasn't ideal but the flight went okay. The next morning sweet Lucy had made us a full breakfast, complete with name placements...
Needless to say Lincoln took a great nap that day...He was exhausted from the late flight...
Linc and Hank were buddies pretty much the whole time. Hank was really tough the times that Lincoln pushed him (we're working on that) and they palled around together lots. He is so darling!
Lincoln was in heaven with the girls. They were so entertaining!
The kids were so sweet to Griffin as well. I found Hank laughing at him or playing with him in the car seat all the time.
On Tuesday night I was lucky enough to go to the girls show at their school, with Lincoln in tow. They were so cute and so excited to show me around their darling school in Magnolia.
After the performance Holly picked us up and we went to Discovery Park where we played on the beach. It was a perfect night.
The boys were terrible about sleeping in. The three of us were in the same room and once one boy woke up, we were all up. (Notice time on clock. We had already been awake for 30 minutes...)
Their house and backyard was heaven for Lincoln. Whenever I couldn't find Lincoln I just went and looked in the tree in the backyard. He would be "climbing" it. (Tree in upper right corner. Not tall.)
Linc loves and adores Lucy and Mia. He followed them everywhere...
And he enjoyed watching Planes with Hank...And since Holly and I were working on lots of projects this happened more times than we would like to admit.
Cuddling with all the little cuties...
On Friday night we went over to Ballard and played on the beach. Jansen got us all hot dogs and onion rings and we enjoyed a relaxed night on the water.
Then on Saturday, since the weather was divine, we went out on a boat and enjoyed the water and wonderful weather. Lincoln LOVED the boat!!!
He even got in the water and swam with me! It was pretty cold but he was so excited about it.
I love and adore this sister of mine. She is currently pregnant with the twins and she is being so brave and is so full of hope for them. She was constantly holding and loving on Griffin. She is such an amazing mother and these twin boys are so lucky to have her as their mom. They have an uphill battle going against them (both having bilateral cleft lips and lots of heart problems) but she is so amazing and full of faith. My boys are lucky to have her as their aunt and I'm even luckier to have her as my sister.
I ended up extending my trip three days because Holly and I were having such a great time and getting so much done. On the day I left we went to Chinooks and got fish tacos (divine) while the boys watched baby Einstein. It was perfect.
1. Great 10 days with Holly.
2. Fun cousins for Linc.
3. Amazing Seattle food...
