DC

We went to DC!  It rained almost the whole time but it was so fun.  We figured since we only have one kid, for now, and we want to visit DC we would go over winter break. We had a great time! 

 We stayed at the Westin in Alexandria, Virginia right next to the National Patent Office.  Lincoln was stoked for the elevators and all the fun of staying in a new place.

 After we checked in we walked over to the Patent Museum at the Patent Office.

After the Museum we went on a walk down King Street in Old Town Alexandria.  It was so beautiful, despite the rain.

 We stopped at The Majestic Restaurant for dinner.  It's always fun to have a stroller in the small restaurants.

 When we got back to the hotel we went swimming and Lincoln loved it!  

 Saturday morning we went swimming again and checked out.  We stopped at PotBelly's for an early lunch and it was so delicious!  I wish they had one in Charlottesville.  Best sandwich ever.  Then we walked over to the Metro that was right next to our hotel.  Lincoln loved the metro!

 We took the Metro downtown to the National Mall and went to most of the Museums.  The last time I was there was when I was little so it was fun, and educational, to see those again. 

 The Air and Space Museum was awesome, Linc loved the planes!

 On our way down to the Museum of Natural History it POURED rain.  We ran as fast as we could with the stroller and our small umbrella over us and we were still SOAKED.
